SELF EXAMINATION WITH MOMMY PDJ

PROPHETESS DR. JUSTINA
PROPHETESS DR. JUSTINA

The Topic is self-examination. It's important to understand that God has placed us here, and He observes our actions. We are like individuals in an exam hall, with the earth as our testing ground. On this earth, everything we do will eventually be evaluated. Recognizing that life is an exam hall, it is essential to practice self-examination. Without it, you may not realize when you've strayed off course. Often, we become so preoccupied with life's demands that we neglect to reflect on ourselves. We fail to take the time to truly understand ourselves, and therefore, we remain uncertain about our spiritual destiny, whether it be heaven or hell if the rapture were to occur now. If you haven't engaged in self-reflection for a long time, you might not be aware of your spiritual state. You might not know if you're genuinely prepared for the rapture should Jesus appear at this moment. During His appearance, He will gather those who have passed the test. When you examine yourself, do you believe you would be taken up with Christ? Self-examination is vital. We must continuously remind ourselves that this world is temporary. It is not our final destination; it is merely a transient place. The Bible states that a day on earth is like a thousand years in God's eyes. You may think you have lived through four generations, but in God's time, that doesn't even amount to a day, as a day in His presence equates to a thousand years on earth. You might consider yourself aged at 40 or 50, but in God's timeline, that is merely seconds. Many people pass away at 50, 80, or 100 years old. Most people die in their middle years, with only a few reaching a hundred or beyond. If you were born on Earth and die young, your time is not even a second in God's calendar. This earth, which seems so significant to us, is fleeting, as a full day in God's calendar is 1,000 earthly years. Until we grasp the spiritual truths revealed in scripture, we risk living a life of mistakes that could jeopardize our future and ultimate destination. Dear believer, your 50 years are less than a full minute in God's time. Let's read 1 Timothy 4:16. Before proceeding, I pray that the Holy Spirit works in your heart during this teaching. Are you with me? 1 Timothy 4:16 says: "Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine; continue in them, for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee." The scripture advises us to be cautious and attentive. Remember, you have received a doctrine, which is the scripture, a guide to follow. By diligently adhering to it, you can save both yourself and those who listen to you.

When you speak to them, are you aligned with me? It's important to self-reflect, and I want to offer you four points for self-examination. Don't become complacent. It's like traveling from Nairobi to Mombasa; being on the road doesn't mean you've reached Mombasa. Heaven is the destination, not the journey. Enjoying the journey doesn't mean you've arrived. God placed you on earth, and only through self-reflection can you discern your path. We often get too comfortable. I was pondering this last night, and the Lord reminded me that we sometimes forget our temporary existence here. We become too accustomed to our lifestyles and activities, failing to check ourselves when we stray. I realized that being in church doesn't necessarily mean being in God. The Bible says that encountering God transforms us. If we truly meet God daily, why do we remain unchanged? Why is there no progress in our lives? Could there be obstacles hindering us? Why do we attend church but fail to grasp or navigate it? We don't resemble the testimonies of those who know God. Knowing God should reflect in us. When life is chaotic, we need Christ. When Christ entered the troubled boat, peace ensued. Sometimes we're too preoccupied and lose sight of Christ, risking our boat sinking. Self-reflection: Jesus said to count the cost. Consider your life and daily actions. Are they leading you to destruction or eternal rest? Each action has an endpoint. Wrong actions lead to wrong outcomes, and right actions lead to right ones. There's no middle ground; it's either good or evil, God or Satan. Here are four measures for self-assessment: First, do you resist the truth? When you hear God's word, do you feel offended? When a pastor speaks against sin, do you feel attacked or recognize the need to align with God? Your reaction reveals your heart's state. If you feel offended by the Bible's call to forgive, you're resisting Jesus' teachings. Consider Joseph's story: despite his brothers' betrayal, he forgave them because God used him to preserve them. What about minor grievances? Holding grudges over trivial matters isn't justified. We harbor malice and refuse to forgive. If I asked you to raise your hands or embrace each other in church, could you do it sincerely? Offense can prevent us from reaching heaven. The Bible advises reconciling with others before worshiping God. Yet, we selectively follow scripture. How do you respond to this message? Do you feel it's irrelevant because you anticipated a different service? Reflect on whether this teaching prompts change or if you're justifying your resistance to repentance and forgiveness. Your reaction to God's word indicates your heart's condition. After the service, evaluate how God's word resonates with you. Does it seem unrelated when it's about repentance and forgiveness? I've taught that no matter your church involvement, dying with bitterness, unforgiveness, or a sorrowful heart prevents entry to heaven. Anger and wrath isolate you spiritually. Despite years in church, you may cling to unforgiveness and anger. You haven't forgiven your father or past betrayals, holding onto grievances. Remember, God's word addresses these issues. May God guide us, in Jesus' name.

Number two, self-examination. Is your heart resistant to Godly principles? Do you struggle to live by them? Reflect on whether your heart is transformed or hardened. The Bible describes a Godly Christian as kind, self-controlled, and loving. There are nine or more attributes that a true Christian should exhibit as the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Can your heart embrace these qualities? Are you kind? Evaluate yourself. Kindness means giving willingly, not expecting anything in return. True kindness does not demand repayment. If you give and expect something back, you're trading, not being kind. Godly kindness involves giving without expecting gratitude or recognition. It's about your nature and personality. Sometimes, giving brings joy, knowing you're able to help. True believers give without expectations, avoiding offense because they expect nothing in return. Mercy involves forgiving those who don't deserve it, reflecting the merciful nature of God. Even when hurt, choose to forgive, demonstrating mercy. Godly principles involve sharing and loving others. The Bible instructs us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Are we practicing this? Often, we don't. We may flaunt our blessings while ignoring our neighbor's struggles. True Godly principles involve caring for others, not taking pride in their difficulties. Giving should alleviate others' burdens, not stem from wealth. As a church, we give because times are hard, not because we're rich. Wisdom lies in sharing with those in need, not hoarding wealth. Self-control is another Godly principle. A Christian should demonstrate restraint and maturity, avoiding conflicts. Even when provoked, choose silence and wisdom. Avoid reacting with anger or violence. Self-control prevents unnecessary confrontations. I pray for your heart to remain open to God's principles, ensuring you are not left behind. Maturity and humility should guide your actions. Dressing modestly is also important. As Christians, we should avoid being sources of temptation. Our appearance should reflect our values, not distract or mislead others. Leaders, especially, should set examples in their conduct and attire. Embrace Godly principles without compromise, seeking divine help when needed.

Number three, are you aware of the afterlife? There is life beyond death. Have you considered this? Have you reminded yourself that after today, if you die, another life awaits? Many people tend to forget this. According to the Bible, when someone dies, judgment follows. Whatever you do here, the moment you pass away, judgment arrives. Are you conscious of this? That should be frightening. Not this world, because here, things perish. But in the afterlife, there is no death. If you are punished every day, it continues indefinitely. We don't know when it ends. Earthly suffering is finite, but the suffering after death is limitless. You should fear it. When making decisions, think about the afterlife. Consider eternity. Don't ignore eternity. Don't overlook the reality of judgment. There is a place of questioning. However you live here, you will be questioned. It's like being a boss. Jesus used a parable where he entrusted talents to servants and expected them to use them wisely. When he returned, one servant did nothing with the talent. What they had was given to those who were responsible, and Jesus called that servant wicked. Child of God, there is life beyond this world. You might be ill here, but if you die in glory, you will never experience illness again. You might have a disability here; if you die in glory, you will have a complete body. You might feel alone here, but in glory, you will sit at a heavenly table surrounded by people. There is no loneliness there. If you die poor because you served God faithfully on earth, your first heavenly home will be a mansion. Which is preferable? Despite your intelligence, it has only brought you heartbreak. Consider your cleverness; it has only resulted in heartbreak. All the deceit, cheating, gossiping, and betrayal you've engaged in on earth—what do you have to show for it? How many houses do you own? How many cars do you drive? How many children do you have?

Did you know that Solomon was a mortal who walked this earth? He had 300 wives and countless concubines, was immensely wealthy, and was a great man. Yet today, even having one girlfriend or wife can be problematic. Despite his power, Solomon concluded his life by declaring, "Vanity upon vanity." You read the Bible and remain silent. You're not as wealthy as Solomon, and you never will be, for God decreed that no one would surpass Solomon's riches. Despite people being wealthier than you, you take extreme risks, engaging in all sorts of immoral activities, yet remain broke. Isn't it time to stop and reflect? If wrongdoing brought greatness, why aren't you great? Some have stolen spouses, harmed others, and committed numerous wrongs. You may have once engaged in sex for money, but now you're penniless. Can't you see that wealth doesn't come from human efforts? The Bible states that God is the source of riches, blessings, and prosperity. Consider what you've tried—business, even working in a mortuary. People engage in various trades, like making coffins, to earn a living. Reflect on this: many have pursued numerous paths to achieve greatness, yet nothing fruitful has emerged. Some have betrayed others and destroyed organizations, only to end up poorer than those they undermined. Have you seen how some divide churches, start their own, and years later have nothing to show for it? Many pursuits bring no lasting benefit. If material wealth could buy eternal life, we wouldn't still face mortality. Think about eternity; it's a vital consideration. Ponder what risks are worth taking for this earthly life. Death is inevitable, and no matter how much someone loves you, they won't join you in the grave. They may mourn, but they won't accompany you. Living recklessly begs the question of what awaits in eternity. Think carefully before making decisions, betraying others, or pursuing the wrong path. There's more to life than earthly pursuits. May God guide us, in Jesus' name. Lastly, consider what brings you joy. What fulfills you? Is it God's word, serving in church, or being recognized by God? The Bible says a person's heart is where their treasure lies. If a relationship or money is your source of happiness, that becomes your heaven. If food lifts your spirits, that's your focus. Whatever excites you reveals your priorities. When people say they couldn't attend church, it's because they haven't fallen in love with Jesus. When you truly love God, you'll eagerly anticipate going to His house. A wealthy king once said, "I am glad when they say, 'Let us go to the house of God.'" What does your soul long for? Is it an Mpesa alert?

I am grateful for Safaricom. They continuously send Fuliza alerts, causing those with fragile hearts to feel the strain, as all you desire is comfort. You're not prepared to bear life's burdens; you seek ease. You remain unmoved when you can no longer pray, read the Bible, or sense God's presence. Yet, when a young woman you've been messaging ignores you, you fast, hoping God will soften her heart. Has she become an idol to you? "Oh God, touch Rebecca's heart for me." You need Jesus' intervention. Where is your joy? You're losing your connection with God while gaining worldly things, and you're content. But Jesus instructs, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." While healing is beneficial, a relationship with God surpasses it. Over time, a strong relationship with God inevitably brings healing. Why do we prioritize lesser things over the essential ones in life? This message serves as a reminder that we are not here permanently; we are passing through. Every moment will account for your actions, either as a judgment for good or evil. Do not take it lightly. As your pastor, I too strive for heaven, battling my own demons and weaknesses. I am working on myself, so do not become complacent. None of us have reached our destination; we are all on the path to salvation. Reflect on where you would be if the trumpet sounded today. Would you be in Christ or elsewhere? Consider your life. Are you content with it? Did you come to church by chance, or were you driven by a problem? Is this your true purpose as created by God? Are you deceiving yourself even as a Christian? Is your love sincere? Are you attentive and truthful, or do you secretly mock others? Who are you? Who are you?
